So it's only taken me three years to add something new to my blog.  Would it surprise you that in the current economy I went from painting portraits full time for 12 years to working a 9to5 job again?  Yep, that's right.. Im in the workforce again dealing with the morning commute and afternoon traffic.  BUT.. I am very grateful to have a job.  AND.. at least it's art based since I am doing graphic design and web site design and maintenance.  Portraits commissions seem to be picking up again and I have still had several to work on on the weekends.  Below is a portrait of a young woman I recently completed.  Hope everyone is well and painting up a storm!  Thanks for your patience in my three year hiatus. :• )
